Yes, the picture of the lizard is one I took, see the butterfly wings sticking out of his mouth?

Well, it's been a while since I posted, but yes we have been either very busy or very wet. Right now we are very snotty-sinus & allergies. We are right now waiting on some heavy rainfall headed this way from Dallas. We have been very fortunate here, there has been some bad weather all around us and a couple of small towns in Arkansas just north of us got hit pretty hard, in fact my son in the AR Army National Guard was asked to help with clean-up in Mena AR.

Well, we finally had enough dry time to till & row & plant so a big chunk of our garden is in the ground. We lost some seedlings so those are on the list of things to do this week, re-plant. I have some cukes & spaghetti squash in the ground and will put more in next week, this keeps me from having to much ready at one time. Last year when planting peas we did 2 rows a week, again, kept me from spending too much time harvesting & putting up.

Sit back and enjoy the view from our garden.
My kitchen garden.
Front has garlic, Lemon Balm, & Fever Few. The back right is Chocolate mint & Spearmint, the front right of the back is Basil. I have Oregano, Cumin & Cilantro in starter pots to put in when ready.
Addition to Garden.... Oh, and my strawberry tower we are working on. This thing will have 3 tiers & a sprinkler at the top, just like I have always wanted. We found landscape timbers on sale for $2 each. Romaine & corner to corner view.
Romaine, up close and personal.... I was walking the taters this morning and found some poor confused lady on a weed, so I picked her up and put her on my lettuce. I found some bugs on my lettuce yesterday and rinsed them with my home made laundry detergent. That took care of most of the bugs, but not all. I found ladybug houses online for $60, I am thinking with a husband in construction who is always bringing scraps home I can build one for the cost of nails (and bandaids).
Another addition to the right. Last year we stopped at the pole (scroll down and see), the add on is where my corn is going.
Broccoli on the right, taters on the left. 5-100 ft rows of taters. I was weeding them the other day and guess what I found..... TATERS!!!! The cutest little taters!!!!
Taters & chicken coop (or chicken poop as my 3 year old grandson calls it). When that is done we are going to put up a place for rabbits.
Popcorn spot. I found a white hullless popcorn I want to try. We have to put it on the other side of the yard though, or all my corn will be popcorn.

That's it for now....... Thanks for stopping by, leave a comment if you wish.
